What are the most popular and shared destinations on Instagram? Since social networks entered our lives, we share our holiday photos on social networks , especially on Instagram , where thanks to hashtags you can discover the experiences of thousands of travelers around the world. Loved by fans and by those who love to discover the itineraries and adventures of others, the photographic social network has become the travel album of many people over time.
But which locations are the most clicked by followers and the most shared shots? According to a recent survey at the top of the list of the most used hashtags there would be France with its Eiffel Tower , symbol of Paris, destination of romantics and dreamers, but also of artists and lovers of beauty. The hashtag in question would have been used almost 3 million and a half times. Second in the ranking is the London clock, the famous Big Ben , photographed and shared by 2.5 million tourists.
Third placed Grand Canyon in Arizona whose breathtaking beauty has conquered almost 2 million users on Instagram, follows the London Eye, the famous Ferris wheel in London, and the Empire State Building , a skyscraper symbol of New York, a must-see stop (with lots of photos) for all travelers visiting the Big Apple. Next we find the spectacular Golden Gate Bridge , the bridge that characterizes San Francisco, while seventh place is all for another London monument: Tower Bridge.
Eighth in the ranking is the Statue of Liberty , followed by the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Finally the top ten closes the Colosseum, symbol of Rome loved by tourists from all over the world, who have photographed it for almost 700 thousand times. Among the other Italian monuments we find the Trevi Fountain, which reached the 24th place and the Tower of Pisa, shared with its hashtag 106 thousand times.
